A while ago, I went searching for a mobile phone for myself and finally stumbled across the incredible offers that some networks / companies would give if your next mobile phone was with them.
My contract was running out so I thought 'what the heck', and gave it a try. Sure enough, 2 working days later I received my new phone, and within a fortnight I had received my playstation 3.
Once I received it, I obviously bought games and played with my mates, all asking me how much this all cost me. "Well", I said, "I got it for FREE".
There's quite a few networks and websites that giveaway offers now so I thought everyone had heard about this, but they hadn't. They were all shocked, asking me how and where... It took them a while to believe me!
They asked me "So I bet you are paying £100 a month for the contract to pay for the Playstation 3, so it's not free.". "No no no" I said, "I'm paying £35 per month, which might be high but not for 800 minutes and 500 texts!".
With that, they asked for some more information, and within 1 month, 2 of my friends had Playstation 3's, one other chose another gift and the others are all waiting for their existing contract to end.
